CEME

Introduction

Ceme is similar to Domino QQ; Domino has 4 domino cards however Ceme has 2 domino cards only. The cards used consist of 28 cards and each cards has a their own values.

During play, all players are dealt 2 cards. Players also have a choice of being the player or the Banker.

Ceme starts with a minimum of 2 players to a maximum of 8 players in which 1 player has to be the Banker. If there is no Banker, the game will not begin.

Once the player is dealt 2 cards, he is given the opportunity to check the strength of his cards. Once the time limit is up, all players are forced into a showdown where they all show the strength of their hands accordingly to all players.

The game is pretty straight forward where the player with the highest point will win the game. However, there is a twist. The calculation for the hand strength will be shown in the next part of this tutorial.

DETERMINING YOUR CARD STRENGTH:

Basically, each Domino card is self-explanatory where the total value that you add up will give you the number that you will have. Combine both of these cards, and you will have the total value of your cards. With this total value that you have, the strength of your hand is basically synthesized into a number from anywhere between 0 – 9 (0 being the weakest and 9 being the strongest). Take a look at the example schedule for a better understanding.

Catatan / Note:

If you add 2 cards up together and have a value of more than 9, you minus your existing value with 10;

If you add 2 cards up together and have a value of more than 19, you minus your existing value with 20;

Determining a Winner

If you as a player, have a higher card value than the Banker, the Banker will pay the bet amount that you have placed before. Look at the example below:

If the Banker has a higher card value than the player, the player loses his bet amount to the Banker. Look at the example below:

The Banker will always win in the event of a draw with the player. Look at the example below:

In the event that the player has a card value of 9, the dealer pays the player Double (2X) his bet amount. Look at the example below:

However, if the dealer has a card value of 9, all players lose their bet amount. Look at the example below:

Example:

  • If there are 2 players and 1 dealer sitting on the same table with the condition:
    Player 1 has a total card value of 2,
  • Player 2 has a total card value of 8,
  • Banker has a total card value of 7,
  • The following happens; Player 1 will pay the Banker (this is because the Banker’s card value is higher than Player 1’s card value
  • Banker will have to pay Player 2 (This is because Player 2’s card value is higher than the Banker’s card value)

The following will happen up to 7 players.

IMPORTANT RULES TO REMEMBER:

  • The value of the card that is smallest will be 0
  • The value of the card that is highest will be 9
  • Player with the card value of 9 gets paid 2X
  • If Banker and Player draws, Banker will always win.
  • If Banker has 9 , Banker wins all.
